We've all heard of trolls, and I'd be shocked if anyone said that they've never encountered one. They're everywhere, on YouTube, Yahoo! Answers, Stardoll... you name it. Needless to say, I'll be focusing on Stardoll trolls. Some people view trolling as harmless fun, while others insist that it's an awful thing to do. It's fairly easy to understand both points of view. Those who say it's harmless are assuming everyone will take it as a joke, and if they're not trying to hurt anyone, they won't...right? Those who say it's awful think that it's just plain hurtful. Or at least that's the way I see it.
A week or so ago, a friend and I were trolling the chats. We would go in and I would try to blend in with the crowd while he hit on girls. After a few minutes, I cause a bunch of drama, saying I'm his girlfriend and causing a bunch of drama. We'd let it go on for a bit before we'd say it was a joke. I'll admit that we made a lot of people mad that day. Most people would curse at us, but there were those that laughed about it. Some people were mad at first, but got over it fairly quickly and laughed with us. This illustrates my point of view on the situation clearly: as long as you're not hurting anyone, it's fine to play jokes on people. Honestly, those girls probably forgot about it by the next day, how much could some guy they met online and talked to for maybe five minutes honestly mean to them?
What do you think about trolling? Is it harmless fun or something people should feel guilty about?

New Chanel Tribute
I'm sure quite a few of you have already noticed the new Chanel Summer Tribute Store. I was surprised by it's sudden appearance in the Starplaza. Usually Stardoll will send out a message to everyone, announcing its arrival. This time they released it quietly.
I love the setup of the store. It reminds me of an alien spaceship. I may prefer the interior of the TARDIS, but their spaceship is cool too. If I bought stardollars and it was released as an interior, I would buy it in a heartbeat. (Given that they removed the Chanel Logos.) While an alien spaceship and Chanel don't usually go together, it's not a bad thing. My only complaint is that the chairs they're selling look really strange.
The clothes look nice. They're not the best thing Stardoll has ever sold, but they're not the worst. My favorite thing is the Dazzle Tights. My least favorite is a tie between the Pompoms Dress and the wigs. My biggest problem is the prices. I realize that Tribute Stores are always expensive, but still. Why would someone want to spend 9 stardollars on a pair of sunglasses, or 15 for an ugly skirt that makes your dolls' hips look huge?
While I can tell Stardoll worked really hard on the store, and I can see why someone else might like it, I think it's an average store. While some of the clothes are really nice, they're also overpriced, and I can't picture myself buying more than a couple things.
UPDATE: I've received a message about the store.
